THE SIBLINGS OF THE SACRED HEART

"Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?" And stretching out his hand towards his disciples he said, ´Here are my mother and my brothers.´ Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother" (Mt 12. 49, 50).

I call all souls that have been touched in an authentic way by the love of our Lord Jesus Christ The Siblings of the Sacred Heart (abbreviated SOSH. The abbreviation SOS is the international call of emergency and the H refers to the All holy Heart of Jesus).  Such souls seek continuously refuge in His Sacred Heart because it is a furnace of love. Such souls fulfill his commandments because they love him, "Whoever holds to my commandments and keeps them is the one who loves me" (Jh 14. 21). And our Lord added, "I give you a new commandment: love one another; you must love one another just as I have loved you" (Jh 13. 34, 35).

A soul that fulfills the double commandment of love fulfills all others commandments of the Lord because the love consists of the two greatest commandments, "Master, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?" Jesus said to him, "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets" (Mt 22. 36-40). The commandments of our Lord are eternal Life, the commandments of his heavenly Father, "For I have not spoken of my own accord; but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and what to speak, and I know that his commandments mean eternal life“ (Jh 12. 49, 50).

No created being has loved Jesus with as burning a love as the blessed Virgin, the Mother of God who gave him life in her womb. She was the first member of the Church to receive eternal life because she obeyed God the Father in complete humility and obedience, "You see before you the Lord’s servant, let it happen to me as you have said" (Lk 1. 38). Thus God’s eternal dream was realized which lived in his heart since "before the world was made" (Ep 1. 4). The eternal Word became incarnated in the womb of the Virgin, a "life that was the light of men" (Jh 1. 4). This light shone in the darkness and the black fog of the original sin retreated from this moment from all receiving the light of life, "The real light that gives light to everyone" (Jh 1. 9).

The same mystery repeats itself in every soul who follows the pattern of the blessed Virgin if we confess our sins and repent. Then God’s grace begins to shine in our hearts and the eternal birth of the Word takes place in our own lives. We become the mothers of Jesus in our own lives. In God’s plan Mary plays an unique role as is discussed in Meditation 14 and Meditation 18 where she is revealed as the First Living Ark of the New Covenant and just as the ancient Hebrews followed the Ark in the desert to the Promised land, the Church follows Mary ever Virgin in the Divine Order of March.

On the picture below we see our Lord’s redemption as in a nutshell. It is the All Holy Heart of Jesus that is the fountain or source of the most Holy Blood. In the Old covenant the priests of Aaron were forbidden to nourish themselves on the blood of the sacrifice as it was a token of the supernatural life of the New covenant. It is this supernatural life which streams over the Immaculate Heart of Mary and later to all other human hearts in the life of grace. This is the divine ordinance in the community of the Church.

The new and supernatural community which appeared on earth on the Day of Pentecost is the community of the brothers and sisters of Jesus under the protective veil of his Mother, the blessed Virgin, a community of billions of hearts, of all those believing in Jesus and are baptized in his name as well as of all those with good will, all humanity. All humanity as one wholeness is invited to join this community, to become the brothers and sisters of Jesus in his fight against the enemy of all life – Satan – and establish his Kingdom on earth in their private as social life. This means that we make the blessed Virgin our pattern in her humility and innocence and repute the sin. This is how we build a CIVILIZATION OF LIGHT, LIFE AND LOVE on earth. This is the same thing as seeking continuous refugee in the TABERNACLE OF LIFE. The Tabernacle of life is the opposite of the BLACK TABERNACLE OF DEATH and no soul is able to stay in both of these tabernacles simultaneously.

It is no coincidence that the Bible begins by giving accounts of this women rather than referring to her in its closing chapters, "I shall put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her (Jesus), it will bruise your head and you will strike its heel" (Gn 3. 15). It is Mary ever Virgin and Queen of Heaven who faces the dragon in the 12th chapter of Revelation and will bruise its head. This is the truth revealed to the Hungarian Carmelite sister Erzsebet (Elisabeth) Szanto. The Virgin Mother said to hear: "The Flame of grace which I give you from my Immaculate Heart must go from heart to heart. It will be the miracle which will blind Satan. It is the Flame of Love and unity and we shall extinguish fire with fire: the fire of hate with the fire of love! I obtained these graces from our Heavenly Father through the Wounds of my Son." [1] Thus our Lord asked us to pray:

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners
and send forth the graces of your (thy)
Flame of Love to all mankind
now and at the hour of our death. [2]

This is in full conformity with the revelation of the Tabernacle where we see how Mary leads the Church against the power of Satan as the First Living Ark of the New Covenant.
